The Cross Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-preaching church in Wallisville, Texas, committed to the authority of God’s Word and the glory of Christ. We believe the Bible is sufficient and desire to see Christ formed in His people through faithful preaching, gospel-centered worship, intentional discipleship, and lives transformed by grace. 

The Cross Baptist Church is the continuation of a Gospel witness that has served the Wallisville community for more than 130 years. While our name has changed through the years, from Turtle Bay Baptist Church to Eminence Baptist Church and now The Cross Baptist Church, our commitment remains the same: faithfully proclaiming Jesus Christ and His Word.

Our church in Wallisville serves families throughout Chambers County, including Anahuac, Beach City, Mont Belvieu, and Winnie. Centrally located in the heart of the county, The Cross Baptist Church is just a short drive from surrounding communities across the region. From young families to senior adults, there is a place for you here.
